Dead Sea Cosmetics From Then to Now

The popularity of dead sea cosmetics stems from hundreds of years ago when they were made much differently for the royals of their time until the present. It started millions of years ago when a fault line opened up layers of earth that turned out to be rich in minerals. Later salt water springs sprang up eventually making a lake. This happened in part because this area is the lowest in the entire world. It is four hundred meters below sea level. Over time parts of this area evaporated and this meant that what was left now contained nearly thirty percent salt along with other minerals known to be extremely healthy for the human body.

Although called the Dead Sea the area has the reputation of being one that gives health and beauty. Through the centuries the area has been famous for what it can do for the skin, the hair and even the wellbeing of those who visit it. This has all been taken into account with the recent dead sea cosmetics lines that are now available.

One product of the dead sea cosmetics line is cosmetic black mud. This is used to clean the skin. It can be used as a face mask. They are also mixed with creams to be used as shampoos or as soap. When prepared the mud is sterilized to ensure it does not irate the skin. It is most often mixed with some type of gel, often an Aloe Vera, to make sure that what touches the skin is safe and gentle.

Mineral bath salts are another product in the dead sea cosmetics line. Buying this product allows the customer to feel like they have the Dead Sea at home with them. It can be used in the bath and will give all the benefits of relaxing in the minerals of the Dead Sea without having to leave your home. The minerals can also be used in the Jacuzzi, a whirlpool or hot tub. Whatever the customer’s preference these will make them feel relaxed and somehow increase that basic feeling of wellbeing. The dead sea cosmetics lines are available from health spas, resorts , stores or online.
